langrevise is run by Fraser Mudhai, a sole trader trading as langrevise. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean Fraser Mudhai, and “you” means the person using the site.

You can reach us at support@langrevise.com for anything general, or privacy@langrevise.com for anything about your data.

By creating an account or using langrevise, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

These terms, together with our privacy policy, are the whole agreement between us.

langrevise is an online revision site for AQA and Edexcel GCSE Spanish. You choose your board when you sign up, and everything you are shown comes from that board's specification. It has three parts: vocabulary, which uses spaced repetition to decide when to show you each word again; tenses, which teaches and then drills verb conjugation across nine tenses; and translation, which gives you sentences or paragraphs to translate in both directions, depending on which your board examines.

It is a revision aid. It is not a course, not a tutor, and not a substitute for your lessons or your textbook.

langrevise is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by AQA, Pearson Edexcel, or any other exam board. We name them only to say which specifications our content is built to follow. AQA and Edexcel are trade marks of their owners and we make no claim to either.

Nothing on this site is official exam material, and no mark or score you see here is an official result.

We do not promise, guarantee, or predict any particular grade, mark, or result. What you get out of langrevise depends on the work you put in and on a great many things outside our control.

We write our content carefully, but we do not promise it is free of errors or that it covers everything that could come up in an exam. Check anything important against your exam board's own material or ask your teacher.

You must be 13 or over to use langrevise. If we find out an account belongs to someone under 13, we will close it and delete the data on it.

If you are under 18, you can use the free plan yourself. You must have a parent or guardian's permission before you pay for anything, and the card used must belong to someone who has agreed to the payment. If you are a parent or guardian, please read these terms and our privacy policy, and email us if you have questions about your child's account.

You can sign up with an email address and password, or with your Google account. Keep your login details to yourself: you are responsible for what happens on your account.

Give us accurate details when you sign up, and keep them up to date. If you think someone else has got into your account, tell us straight away.

One account is for one person. Do not share a login, and do not create extra accounts to get around the limits of the free plan.

The free plan lets you learn your first 150 words. There is no time limit and no daily cut-off: you can use the site as often and for as long as you like.

Those 150 words stay yours. You can carry on reviewing them for as long as you have an account, and reviewing does not count against the allowance — only starting a new word does.

The free plan also includes the grammar guides for all nine tenses, and verb practice in the present tense. Practice in the other eight tenses, translation practice and the rest of your board's word list need a paid plan.

The free plan does not ask for card details, does not expire, and will never turn into a paid subscription on its own. We may change the size of the free allowance in future. If we do, we will say so on this page.

There are two paid options:

• Monthly, at £3.99 a month, which renews every month until you cancel.
• The exam season pass, at £19.99 once, which runs until 30 June and then simply ends. It does not renew.

Both remove the weekly time limit. All prices are in pounds sterling and include any tax that applies. There is no free trial: the free plan is the way to try langrevise before paying.

The paid plans are sold in the United Kingdom only. If you appear to be outside the UK when you try to subscribe, checkout will not open. The free plan has no such restriction and can be used from anywhere.

This is a limit on where we sell, not a judgement about who the material suits. The course content follows the AQA and Edexcel GCSE Spanish specifications, which are UK qualifications.

Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. You will need to give accurate billing details, and keep your payment method up to date if you are on the monthly plan.

The monthly plan renews automatically at the end of each billing month, at the price then in effect, until you cancel. You are agreeing to that recurring charge when you subscribe. The exam season pass is a single payment and never auto-renews.

If a renewal payment fails, we may keep your access on for a short while and try again. If it still cannot be collected, the account goes back to the free plan.

You can cancel the monthly plan at any time by emailing support@langrevise.com. Cancelling stops the next payment. It does not cut your access off straight away: you keep the paid features until the end of the month you have already paid for.

There is nothing to cancel on the exam season pass, because it does not renew.

Changing your mind. Buying online normally gives you 14 days to change your mind. Because langrevise is digital and starts the moment you pay, checkout asks you to tick a box saying you want your access to start immediately and that you understand you give up that 14-day right once it does. If you tick it, and you will have to in order to pay, the 14-day change-of-mind refund does not apply.

This is only about changing your mind. It does not touch anything below: if something is wrong with langrevise, or we stop providing it, your rights are exactly as described there, and nothing in these terms can remove them.

If you have paid and something has gone wrong, or you think you were charged by mistake, email support@langrevise.com and we will look at it properly.

Cancelling later. If you cancel part way through a period you have paid for, we do not refund the unused part, because you keep your access until that period ends.

If something is wrong. If langrevise is faulty, is not as described, or is not provided with reasonable care and skill, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 that these terms cannot take away. Depending on the problem that can mean a repeat performance or a price reduction, and in some cases a refund. Email us and tell us what has gone wrong.

If we stop or change things. If we close langrevise, or take away a significant part of what you paid for, we will refund the part of your subscription you have not used. If we close your account for breaking these terms, we do not refund it.

Refunds go back to the card you paid with, and usually take a few working days to appear.

We may change our prices. If you are on the monthly plan and the price goes up, we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect, so you can cancel first if you would rather not pay the new price. A price change never affects an exam season pass you have already bought.

langrevise is for your own revision. Please do not:

• share your login, or sell or pass on access to your account
• make extra accounts to get around the free plan's weekly limit
• copy, scrape, or bulk-download our word lists, sentences, or explanations, or republish them anywhere
• use the site or its content to build or train a competing product
• try to break, overload, or get around the security of the site, or reverse engineer how it works
• use bots, scripts, or automated tools on the site
• type anything unlawful, abusive, or deliberately offensive into the site, including into the AI check or the support form
• pretend to be someone else

If you break these rules we may warn you, suspend your account, or close it. For anything serious we may act without warning first.

Separately, follow your school's and your exam board's rules about AI and about what counts as your own work. Nothing langrevise gives you should be handed in as coursework.

On the translation exercises there is an optional “check with AI” button. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you press it. When you do, the sentence you were given, the model translation, and the answer you typed are sent to Anthropic, which returns a mark out of two and a short comment. Your name, your email address, and your account are not sent. There is a daily limit on how many checks you can run.

That mark is an estimate produced by a language model, for practice. It is not an official mark, it is not produced by an examiner, and it can be wrong, sometimes badly. Treat it as a second opinion, not a verdict, and check anything that matters with your teacher.

The site, its design, its code, and the material in it, including the word lists, the sentences, the explanations, and the logo, belong to us or are used by us under licence. They are protected by copyright and trade mark law.

You may use them for your own revision, and you may print or save copies for that purpose. You may not republish them, sell them, or use them commercially without our written permission. If you would like permission, email support@langrevise.com.

langrevise has no public content. There are no profiles, comments, or messages between users, and nothing you type while revising is visible to anyone else.

The answers you give are stored against your account so the site can work out what to show you next, and are covered by our privacy policy.

If you send us a suggestion, a bug report, or any other feedback, we may use it to improve langrevise without owing you anything for it. That does not give us any right to your personal information beyond what the privacy policy describes.

We want langrevise to be up all the time, but we cannot promise it. It may be down for maintenance, or because something has broken, or because of a problem at one of the companies we rely on.

We may add features, change them, or remove them. If we remove something significant that you are paying for, the refund section above applies. If we decide to close langrevise altogether, we will give you reasonable notice by email so you can get what you need.

You can delete your account at any time from your account page. Doing so removes your data as described in the privacy policy. If you are on a paid plan, cancel it first, or email us, so you are not charged again.

We may suspend or close an account if these terms are broken seriously or repeatedly, if the account is being used unlawfully, or if it puts the site or other users at risk. We will normally warn you first.

We do not limit our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. UK law does not allow that, and we would not want to.

Beyond that, we will provide langrevise with reasonable care and skill, but we are not responsible for your exam results, for decisions you make based on what the site or its AI check tells you, or for losses we could not reasonably have expected when you signed up.

Where we are responsible, the most we will pay you in total is the amount you paid us in the six months before the problem arose. If you are on the free plan and have never paid us anything, that means we are not offering a financial remedy, though your statutory rights below still stand.

langrevise is for personal revision. We are not liable for business losses.

Nothing in these terms takes away the rights you have as a consumer under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If any part of these terms conflicts with those rights, those rights win.

If a court decides any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest of them still apply.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes can be brought in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can bring a claim in your own local courts instead.

We do not require arbitration, and nothing here stops you going to court.

If something has gone wrong, please email support@langrevise.com first. Most things are quicker to fix that way. If your complaint is about how we have handled your data, you can also go to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change matters to you, for example a change to prices, to refunds, or to what we do with your data, we will tell you by email or in the site itself before it takes effect. Carrying on using langrevise after that means you accept the new version.
